The new zero-waste packaging in the claro – 100% product line: plastic-free packaging made from 100% recyclable cardboard made from grass paper. The new cardboard packaging can be easily recycled or simply composted. The packaging is therefore in line with claro’s uncompromising 100% approach to sustainability and at the same time embodies the courage to create new and original designs that meet the packaging’s ecological requirements.
In addition to sustainability and innovation, the focus is still on optimising usability for the customer: easy recycling or composting of the grass cardboard, user-friendly dosing options and stable construction are key components of the packaging.
Grass as a packaging material may seem unusual at first glance, but it is an attractive alternative to conventional corrugated cardboard. Grass from domestic compensation areas, which would not be suitable for animal feed, grows back quickly, consumes less water on the way to the finished carton and causes low CO2 emissions. Sensitivity and inventiveness are required when printing the grass cardboard – but here too, claro and packit! are focussing on quality and showing what is possible with a committed spirit of innovation.
