“Our environment counts” – this is one of CERATIZIT’s corporate values. The company, which is active worldwide in the tool and metal industry, is now following this commitment with action and is switching to the renewable and CO2-neutral raw material cardboard for packaging metal rods.
Together with Dinkhauser, the BU42 and the Kempten logistics centre are currently testing a new cardboard packaging in real use. Its striking triangular shape is a tribute to the CERATIZIT logo. In addition to the ecological aspect, the new packaging offers numerous advantages such as protection against displacement, easy opening thanks to a tear-open strip that also acts as protection against tampering, a unique and striking design as well as a good stackability of the goods. Smaller orders are delivered directly in the sophisticated cardboard packaging.
“Cardboard can be easily recycled and companies even get money back in return,” confirms Christian Buschneg, Product Manager of rods at BU42. Typically for Dinkhauser, a round product with appealing corners and edges was developed here.
