A family business for over 170 years

Josef Dinkhauser founded his bookbinding business in Innsbruck in the revolutionary year of 1848, thereby laying the foundation for our company today.

Much has changed these days, some 171 years later, but some things have remained the same. The company is still run by the family and we still have the ability to act quickly and courageously. That is why Paul Schäfer, who has been managing the company together with his wife Katharina since 1995, doesn’t really get the term “traditional company”, because “we are measured by what we can do for our customers today and tomorrow”. Of course, in a dynamic market such as packaging, this also requires the courage for constant change and further development of the company, in the form of investments, but also through the support and passion of the now approx. 350 employees at the locations in Hall, Barbing and Switzerland.
