Dinkhauser Kartonagen participated in the first ever “Open Factories” event in Hall two years ago, opening its production halls to interested visitors. With great success and terrific feedback! On the occasion of the 170 anniversary of the founding of our company, we once again showed visitors this year how retail package arises from a brown cardboard box.
12 companies, 6 trips, 2 lots of 99 minutes
On 12 April 2018, the marketing department of the town of Hall organised the third “Open Factories” event. On this occasion, 12 industrial and business establishments from in and around Hall opened their doors to visitors from the region. The event made it possible for interested parties to take a peek behind the scenes at various businesses in perfectly planned and organised tours.
There was already considerable excitement in the run-up to the event, and the guests received a very warm welcome from the Dinkhauser team. Divided into four groups, visitors were vouchsafed an insight into the history of the family business and the production of packaging. Everyone was impressed by the diversity, size and sustainability of the company.
We, the team, were pleased with the interest shown and the lively dialogue with our neighbours.
We hope, of course, that one or other of them may have seen Dinkhauser in a new light – as a potential employer. You can find out more about training and careers at Dinkhauser on our careers pages.
