Climate-neutral production

Actively reducing climate change means cutting down and completely avoiding greenhouse gas emissions where possible. Dinkhauser Kartonagen annually calculates its Corporate Carbon Footprint (CO₂ emissions induced by the company) in order to identify significant avoidance and reduction potentials and to measure the effectiveness of climate protection measures.

Measures that have already been implemented include: optimal raw material utilisation, optimisation of transport routes/capacity utilisation, groundwater cooling, utilisation of machine heat and a photovoltaic system (250 KWp). Any remaining emissions, which cannot be avoided, can be offset by emission reduction certificates from recognised climate protection projects.

You can also make a contribution to climate protection by using a climate-neutral product:

• We calculate exactly the amount of CO₂ emissions that arise during production and transport, and offset these through an internationally recognised climate protection project of your choice.
• You can make your products climate-neutral by offsetting these emissions.
• With label, certificate and ID number, you too can communicate your contribution transparently and in a readily identifiable form to the outside world.

Since 2017, our complete production and so all our products are climate-neutral. In cooperation with ClimatePartner, the emissions of the company were calculated and compensate by certified climate protection projects.
